This is a research group led by Dr. Hong Liu, associate professor in the Department of Earth and Environment and researcher in the FIU Institute of Environment.

Our current research addresses important environmental issues such as the impacts of global changes on rare plant populations and their biotic interactions, and conservation of heavily exploited plant species.

The ultimate goal of our research is to generate insights to guide biodiversity conservation and management efforts.
